SUPPOSEDLY (🙄) - one of the concessions he agreed to, in writing, was that a single member could vote to remove him as speaker if they felt he wasn’t upholding the agreements.
I’m right there with you though, I don’t like the fact he is there. Just another uniparty/commie traitor in a position of power.
I can appreciate the desire to be optimistic about the McCarthy House deal. I cannot, however, share it.
1) If McCarthy is on such a ”short leash,” then why did he still want the office. I think he has more power than than they are admitting and that the declarations of victory are a largely ”spin.”
2) For McCarthy to be removed, wouldn’t it require the approval of the same 200+ weasels who repeatedly took his side during THIS battle? Do we really expect them to suddenly grow a spine?
