Isaiah 52: 1-12; God Redeems Jerusalem! Final part of the teaching that wraps up, or should I say, "Unwraps" God perspective of the crucifixion of Jesus from a backwards look across Isaiah starting with Chapter 56, titled, "Salvation for the Gentiles" and and going backwards, finishing with Chapter 52, titled, "God Redeems Jerusalem."
Glorious teaching, that compliments last week's mini-series on Hosea/Amos/Mark teaching of the same sequence! This chapter also has the verse that declares that the people who see the return of the Jews to the holy land will also see the return of Jesus Christ in verses 9-10! That's US!! Hurray! ;()

Do you know God's perspective of His only Son being crucified? Clearly He had this planned all along, even from the very beginning of creation! However, God still holds people accountable for their actions and their choices they have made, and the degree of punishment is equal to the degree of the sin. So how much bigger of crime is it to kill God's only Son than it is to kill anyone else? God's punishment is always just, eventhough he tends to not give the perp the full sentence and instead gives them less punishment by reason of His great mercy. However this case is different and He has had it with the Jews! He shows He is both the God of destruction AND the God of restoration! The superbly executed raid on Iranian nuclear sites may have dealt a gut punch to Iran, but that and Israels devastating campaign against Iran also might be the end of the lifeblood and support to it's proxies -- Houthis, Hezbollah, and Hamas.

Ezra called for the Jews to repent to prevent God's wrath, Jonah called the Ninevites to repent to prevent God's wrath, and the Holy Spirit called Americans to repent to prevent God's wrath. Each time after the people repented, law and order was restored to the land and the people prospered once again. The same is happening right now in America today!
